The IDRE-HASIS Resource Allocation Committee will review and assess all projects with the goal of ensuring that resources are spread fairly across projects and that project support aligns with the strategic direction of IDRE-HASIS. The following criteria will be used to assess projects:
We will begin to identify the scope of the project and the resources needed for successful development and deployment of the project as well as identify the relevant time constraints (e.g. upcoming course or grant deadlines). This will help us determine what level of engagement we can provide and which resources, experts, and groups may be called upon to participate.
The IDRE-HASIS team meets regularly to review reports generated from the information sessions and individual consultations. Based on available resources and relevance to the campus mission, the team may recommend advancing a project idea to the project planning phase. If the project is already underway, the team will assess the current status and recommend next steps. We will prioritize projects that have the potential to benefit the broader campus community through shared tools or technology solutions that will interest a wide spectrum of users.
The IDRE-HASIS team represents a broad base of expertise available to help guide a project toward an appropriate implementation path. If, after the review of your project, it becomes clear that the IDRE-HASIS team is not ready or able to take your project to the next level, the team will provide advice and suggest possible next steps for developing your project ideas.
